Introduction to BAUDH
The Bachelor's Honours Degree Programme in Urdu (BAUDH) offered by the University is a comprehensive academic endeavor designed to provide students with a deep understanding of Urdu language and literature. Objectives of BAUDH

Programme Structure
The BAUDH programme spans over six semesters, during which students select courses from different categories. The course distribution is as follows:
- First Semester: Choose 2 Courses
- Second Semester: Choose 4 Courses
- Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Semesters: Choose 5 Courses each
Course Selection and Credits
Students have the flexibility to choose courses based on their interests and academic goals. The total study load for the programme comprises 148 credits.
Eligibility and Medium of Instruction
- Eligibility: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent.
- Medium of Instruction: The language of instruction for the BAUDH programme is Urdu, ensuring accessibility for Urdu-speaking students.
