Soil Health Focus: Organic farming prioritizes soil health by promoting practices such as crop rotations, cover cropping, composting, and minimal soil disturbance (e.g., no-till or reduced tillage). Healthy soils support diverse microbial populations and enhance nutrient cycling, leading to improved crop health and productivity.

      2. Prohibition of Synthetic Inputs: Organic farming prohibits the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Instead, organic farmers rely on natural alternatives such as compost, green manure, and biological pest control methods to manage soil fertility and pest/disease issues.
