Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) is a nation-wide cleanliness and sanitation campaign launched by the Government of India on October 2, 2014, to achieve the vision of a Clean India. The mission aims to eliminate open defecation, improve solid waste management practices, and promote hygiene and sanitation across urban and rural areas.
